The Dallas CPA Society invites firms looking to hire CPAs, to take advantage of this free service.
Resumes are available in two forms (paper or electronically), and resume review is open to both Chapter and non-Chapter members/firms. Paper resume copies are free, searchable resumes on the web are available almost any time and the range of experience is wide.
Paper resumes may be submitted to the Dallas CPA Society office and are available to be reviewed from 8:30am-5:00pm Monday through Friday. The search is single faceted - represented by the GO button, except where noted using select keywords.
The results of a search may yield Public or Private (anonymous (Private ID)) . The Private ID results when a member chooses to post information about skills but not reveal identity until after a potential employer contacts through an email address. This blind process allows the member the option to forward their complete resume to selected searchers or decline the contact entirely.
To request a resume you must fill out a search form that will provide contact information for the potential client - some fields are required for valid request.
The system is designed to allow searchers to print out specific summary resumes or record unique member ids for later quick retrieval or contact.

Dallas CPA Society Members who desire a career change are encouraged to take advantage of this free service. There are some considerations that should be noted when creating your online electronic version.
Public vs Private (you can choose to be public or anonymous (Private ID).)
The Private ID allows a member to post information about skills but not reveal their identity until after a potential employer contacts them through an email address. The public version allows all searchers to see all of the contact information and image (if uploaded) as well as skills and personal information. This choice also allows you to upload a full resume document, which can be requested by the searcher and delivered electronically without any interaction on your part.
The electronic summary is the searchable content of your resume and should include reasonable keywords that could be used to filter results. An editor is available to enhance the look of the summary areas, for the searcher to print out and review. Please note, if you have selected "private" you must put something in the Summary area for the searcher to see anything associated with your resume. If not, an ID and nothing more will be displayed for the searcher."
